It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

ARTISTS STATEMENT

My work deals in part with the evolution of images with associative meanings from shapes. Connections between spatial configuration in nature, art and music sparked by explorations of how the grammar of rhythm and the process work within the limitations of physical space to determine structure and form. The relationship of natural forms has led to my interest in how meaning emerges in the abstract.

“The artist is a receptacle for emotions from all over the place; the sky, earth, paper, a passing shape or a spider's web”

— PICASSO

“I have worked from nature, its texture continues to challenge me while I explore the possibilities of modern pictorial space and light. Each canvas leading to the next, using my own language. I have been able to free my own individuality from the inspiration I receive from nature, my materials and the whole history of painting. The cave paintings, the Japanese, Giotto, Goya, Titian, Cezanne, as well as the Persians and Picasso have been my teachers. But as Cezanne once said “Challenge the influential master.” - LT

“I add thin veils of color and form with strong brush strokes creating a sense of shallow space. The movement is lyrical and inspired by music. Music and painting are closely related for me. I see shapes dancing across my canvas, or powerfully forging into one another. Frequently classical music accompanies me while I paint.”

Recently, I wrote about myself:

Have you ever witnessed

Time lapse photography?

A flower gently giving up

petal by velvety petal

opening to its utmost beauty

me!
